Over the course of many years, Modern Drywall Ltd. has grown to become one of the most knowledgeable & experienced Wall & Ceiling Contractors in B.C.

The experience of the management, combined with the expertise of our skilled on-site crews have contributed to our “staying power” through many fluctuating “bust & boom” economic cycles.

Known for going “above & beyond” for our clients, our pride in high quality workmanship and production translates from our owner operators on down to our on-site managers, our quality control & safety personnel and our construction crews.

It is our goal to “live up to our name” by striving to be the best, while keeping pace with new and improved methods of construction as well as utilizing more environmentally friendly or “green” technologies such as LEED, to minimize our carbon footprint.

Modern Drywall provides steel stud and drywall work for some of the largest real estate developers in British Columbia. Focusing on residential towers and commercial properties, we have completed some of Vancouver’s most prestigious buildings.

Management

Brothers Mike Krawchuk Jr. and Dan Krawchuk are the principals of Modern Drywall Ltd. They continue a proud family tradition which began in 1955 when their father, Mike Krawchuk Sr., started his own drywall company. It was one of the first in the Province to begin using the new product called “drywall” in favour of the old established system of interior lath and plaster walls & ceilings. The legacy left by Mike Sr. has instilled the values of pride in workmanship, integrity, honesty, and work ethic into his sons.
